Creatively Reimagining with Solid Surfaces
Solid Surfaces provide so many creative possibilities for designers to renew the way space is utilised, for both private and commercial use.We recently teamed up with Legends Solid Surfaces to create two eye-catching projects for clients in a mall environment; Chocolate Café in Sandton City, and Moonlight Menlyn in Pretoria.
Both stylish and functional, these case studies highlight the benefits of using solid surfaces for retail brands and restaurants.
Chocolate Café in Sandton City

For the Chocolate Cafè in Sandton City, two solid surface colours were specified to create an irresistible look that will immediately attract kids to this irresistible looking counter!
Bright White was used as the base colour, with cut out drips in Iris that were overlaid- creating a realistic melting chocolate stand!
Moonshine Menlyn in Pretoria

With Moonshine Menlyn, we have a more formal application where Night Sky was specified as restaurant tables for high traffic areas. Night Sky is a black solid surface with a white speckle that creates a soft and interesting surface.
The restaurant table numbers were inlayed into the tables, making them easy to spot and with no more chance of mix-ups! You will also notice a seamless integration between the table and the inlaid number; there are no glue lines which aids in hygienic surfaces that are long-lasting.
